If convenient, when I mention a product or service, I include an affiliate link to it. That means, if someone clicks on the link and makes a purchase, the vendor pays me something out of their advertising budget. I'd be foolish not to. Here is how my affiliate links work.
Niche
markets and long tail keywords go together. A niche market is small,
but has little competition. It is relatively easy to dominate a niche
market, but to make money, you need to dominate a large number of
niches.
Long tail keywords are keywords for which there are few
searches. If there is some reasonable intent on the part of those
searching to make a purchase, and if there is little online competition
for them, long tail keywords correspond to niche markets.
To
find these niche markets, you need a long tail keywords tool, or tools.
You need to be able to get suggestions for keywords, find their numbers
of searches over an average day or month, find the number of pages
containing the keyword phrase, find the number of pages optimized for
the keyword, and if possible, determine whether the people searching
for the keyword are interested in making a purchase, or just obtaining
information. There are services scattered around the web that will
provide you with this information for free, but with the inconvenience
of copying and pasting data. By integrating these tools, Micro
Niche Finder is an excellent choice for a single long tail keywords tool..
Generally,
we won't be interested in the keywords with the most searches, since
they will have too much competition, nor in those with too few
searches, since there won't be much profit in them.
Long tail keywords with too few searches for a web page can still be usable. We can use ezine article
submission services
to send out variations of the same article with many
different titles in hopes that the title alone will be enough to
dominate a tiny niche. The tiny amount of effort in supplying an
additional title can justify trying to redirect those few searchers to
our web site.
Nevertheless, we are interested in dominating the
largest niches we can. We are interested in a high number of searches,
but only if the competition isn't insurmountable, and only if enough of
the people clicking through are interested in buying.
In the previous video, we
saw how to brainstorm for ideas for niche markets and get
a
list of keywords related to an idea (which is to say, related to some
keyword), and
the number of searches for each of those keywords
per month.
In this
video we see how to use the long tail keywords tool, Micro Niche Finder, to find the number of pages on the web containing the
exact phrase. If there are too many of them, we will be lost in the
crowd. You can find this information for free using the technique shown in Using the Google Keywords Tool.
